It will start at 10 AM EDT with people getting their tablets.
Please work hard to have your pieces by then, and we will be available to help you with additional pieces, with the understanding that unused pieces will be returned to assist someone else. This will last at least 2 hours, or longer if necessary. Guidance will be available at the fourth altar for those who need it.
In order to help you obtain your "altar pieces", from July 1, speed food will be available from a kitchen near Qatara CS, as lots of running is involved. The location of this kitchen will be posted very shortly.
We will also be having refreshments and great herb smoking during this time, bring your extra wines and beers and of course your hookah and herbs. The second part of this event will start at 12 Noon EDT. We are looking for as many attendees as possible, and there will be prizes for the first 50 to arrive and participate.
The second part of the event will be organizing groups around meteors inside of Valley of the Kings, in the hope that we will have enough power and at least learn the next step to opening this lovely region.
You will be guided through the different theories as we work hard at lowering the walls - but it's not all hard work, there will be acro once the work is done.

Although opening up the wonderous and beautiful land of our ancestors should be incentive enough for attending, the generous people of Egypt have donated prizes as an added incentive to you all to turn up and help. To be eligible you need to simply turn up and help - please bring a chit with you. (Skills -> Carving -> Level 2 -> Whittle a Personal Chit). Anybody attending who is unable to carve a chit or who forgets to bring a chit should contact one of the organisers who will try and assist.
On arrival at the Desert of Shades entrance (don't forget your tablet or altar items), you will find a compound adjacent to the 4th altar - there you may partake of beer and wine to refresh your weary legs. There are also 50 identical prize chests behind the bar, the contents of which are secret.
The first 50 people to arrive will choose one of the fifty prize chests and place their chit in it. Once the event is in full swing, the chests will be turned over to the relevant owners so they may later collect their prizes.
1) The event organisers will not be eligible to claim a chest. For the purposes of this event, the organisers are Eighteen, Taemon, Justin and DuncanofMycenae - anyone else in Egypt is eligible to play.
2) Any chits placed in the chests prior to 11am EDT will be removed and will not be counted as valid entries - the time when chits may be placed will be announced in E! and Desert of Shades channels.
3) Placing multiple chits is not allowed and will lead to all of those chits being disqualified.
3) At a pre-designated time, all chests with a chit in them will be "allocated" to the owners of the chit so that they may claim their prize - please note that you cannot turn up, leave a chit and then leave. Only people actively helping with the event at this time will be eligible to collect their prize.
4) All chests contain prizes, although some of the prizes are more valuable than others.
