Hackling Rake

Allows you to separate rotten flax into 10 straw, 10 tow, and 10 lint with 3 sequential 60-second ENDURANCE timers. Cleaning the rake prior to reuse is free (no END timer).

A Hackling Rake will break after about 100 uses, returning no materials. The 100 uses isn't hard and fast. My last rake just broke at 102 uses. (OldJoe)

A Hackling Rake can be upgraded at the cost of 2 identical gem eyelets (cut gem) -Setheri (Upgrade Hackling Rakes and Flax combs with a pair of identical Eyelet gems, halving the exhaustion caused by operating them, and in the case of flax combs, doubling their durability) - Smokie

Comments

• The flax comb is a much inferior version of this building, though requires no metal to make.
• Salvaging the rake before it breaks saves resources (build multiple rakes at the same time, use evenly and salvage all when the first breaks)(unknown if this also returns gem eyelets)

Unlikely to return eyelets used to upgrade it; to date, salvage only returns resources initially used in in construction, not upgrades. Other examples: Pinch rollers in distaffs and forges, size upgrades in chests. - Sabt-Pestnu
