Serpentarium

Once a Serpentarium is built, cobras will migrate in and out of it over time, though cobra movement patterns are not well understood. Food can be stored in a Serpentarium to attract cobras and keep them fed. Snake food consists of:

Note: "Max" means the max load you can stash on the Serpentarium.

Cobras generally eat very little food (approx 1 item per day?), making the serpentarium a good container for rabbits and chickens (max numbers?).

You may examine the Serpentarium (gives information about snake population, such as whether a snake arrived/left/was born, and feeding habits, such as whether something was eaten). Cobras produce Cobra Skins (naturally over time), Cobra Venom when successfully milked and Cobra Blood when a snake is killed (used in ambrosia for the Festival of Hathor).

• Passing The Test of Darkest Night gives one the ability to take cobras out of a Serpentarium and carry them in the inventory.
• When cobras leave a pit, they will pick a random compass direction. If there is a pit nearby, they will fall into it. To retain as many cobras as possible, it may be best to build multiple pits in an area.
