Silkworm Farm

Silkworm farms can only be built and tended by those that have won a rank-2 Beetle Garden competition as part of the The Test of Khefre's Children.

Silkworms generate raw silk when fed the proper thistles.

There are 3 parts to a silkworm's lifecycle:

• Moths - 12 hours
• Eggs - 3 days - During this period you can determine what type of thistle is required and load thistles.
• Silkworms - 12 hours

The thistle requirement will have specific amounts of 4 different vitamins in the same thistle such as: A~B~C+N~ (average Ascorbin, Biotin and Niacin, high Carotene).

Raw silk output ranges from about 1 - 1.3 raw silk per thistle. (It takes 50 raw silk to make one silk cloth)

• 1 Thermometer
• 20 Turquoise paint
• 20 Pale Turquoise paint

• As anyone can provide thistles for a silkworm farm, the best way to operate them is to wait until someone has an easy thistle and then give them a large amount of them to convert into silk. Farmers may list thistle requests here to solict donations.
