Gaming is attempting to pass a test in a manner not consistent with the nature of the discipline said test is in and in a manner harmful to another citizen.
We will not tolerate this kind of behavior in ourselves or others.
This includes (but is not limited to) the following:
1.) The acquiring of mentor shrines through either a. requiring them for admission into a guild, or b. by trading material goods for them. They are a reward for a good mentor, not a commodity to be bought and sold.
2.) Losing conflict games on purpose.
3.) Voting based on the creator rather than the creation. This applies to all things voteable, Art and Thought tests specifically (Leadership is excluded based on the nature of the discipline).
4.) Sharing of cicada cage locations with large groups, with those not actively hunting, or as a retaliatory action against a specific player.
We know we cannot outlaw these practices, as it's not conceivable to do this given the game mechanics, nor would we necessarily choose to. But instead by signing this we make a statement of our values, beliefs, and expectations.
Though we do not intend on it, if for any reason this petition gets turned in to the University to be considered for law, we humbly request that it either be discarded, or if admitted to the ballot and win the #1 slot, be passed over in exchange for its runner up.
