A coconut palm appears to grow a coconut every (teppy) hour.
- NOTE: There is some uncertainty about whether the growth rate is linear - the production rate may increase the longer you leave them alone (e.g. produce 15 coconuts in 12 hours). To check this, some people have been building public apiaries at the base of coconut trees. If you find an apiary at the base of a tree you are harvesting, please check it when you gather coconuts. This will provide an easy way for people to determine how long it has been since the coconuts were last harvested.
