Grandson of the First Telling Hekatef, the Oracle of Thought of generations past. After doing his part to help Egypt meet the original Stranger's challenge, the elder Hekatef lived out his life by the Lake of Reeds (now northeastern Sinai). His son Hapu -- my father -- was more restless, and eventually left Egypt to become a traveling merchant. I've come back in order to help resettle the country and beat the Stranger yet again. I can't imagine I'll ever match Grandpa's sterling reputation, but I've got some old papyrus scrolls with the family beer recipes -- maybe that'll get me somewhere.
I live in Lower Nubia, in the Valley of the Seven Scorpions guild. We're located NW of the Lower Nubia chariot stop, at (325, -3371).
Right now I'm a Student of Three (Architecture, Body and Worship), having passed the Megalopolis, Cicada and Pilgrimage tests, and an Initiate in the other four disciplines. Ultimately, my goal is to become a nicely well-rounded Student of Seven. Grandpa was an Oracle, but I'd like to pursue a broader range of interests in this Telling.
