Rules Of Conduct

Rules of Conduct

1. If you are active in the game, and an eGenesis staffer asks you a question, you must respond. Naturally, this implies that you must be alert and paying attention whenever you're actively doing anything in the game.

2. You are allowed to use keyboard shortcut programs, mouse accelerators, and other macro tools. However, no matter how convenient these tools are, rule 1 still applies - if we ask you a question, you must be there to answer it.

3. We do not have a policy against offensive behavior, but be aware - if you offend the other players, they have the power to punish you. They can even exile you permanently from the land of Egypt - game over, don't come back. If you choose to behave in a way that is annoying to other players, we will not protect you from the wrath of the other players.

4. Avoid straining the game masters. If you need a hint or help solving a puzzle, ask your question in the chat room before calling a game master. However, if a genuine bug is adversely affecting you, do not hesitate to call.

5. It is against the rules to use programs that accelerate the client, make your character run faster, or which enable your character to perform the tasks in the game at a accelerated speed.

6. Each player is entitled to one free account with 24 hours of gameplay. Using more than one free account consitutes theft of services.

7. We reserve the right to remove you entirely at our own discretion.

Continued use of this account, constitutes acknowledgment of these rules of conduct

If you log in and find yourself in a place called "Crossroads" (can be checked using the /clockloc command: your location will appear at the top of the screen) it means you somehow violated one of the above rules, most often the macro rule. Use a GM call (through the "Specials" menu) and a GM will address your situation.
