Test Of Towers > Planning

A page for announcing where you plan to put your towers, with the intent of helping spread out the competition. (Picture your disappointment at placing a tower only to have someone else build one Just Over The Rise.)

Since a tower counts only for the test it was built during, the towers should be listed by the event they will be built during. After the event date/time has passed, the section can be put on an archive page (perhaps with point value?)

Note: It has been pointed out in the forums that announcing the exact location of your tower may invite griefing. It was also pointed out, though, that announcing your intention, and perhaps the number of towers you intend to erect, may have a deterrent effect on others. I still maintain that if we all "play nice", things will go more easily.

Tower Organizers

Maybe you have already passed the test. Maybe you simply want to, but don't have the resources. If you've a goal to put a tower together, here's a place to put your name, to find/be found by others. If you put a guild name in, please also include a primary contact.

Note:

- I have no idea if this is a Good Idea, or Not, but I thought it would be worth a try.

My thoughts are:
Folks should put their tower plans here, on a 'first come, first served' basis, except... That folks who have put up a tower in an area during one event should make way (or help) people putting up towers in the same region during following events. The people who pass the test can see who else is working on towers, and offer to help them. (Moreso if they monopolized the points for some region.)
