Now let's talk about Vineyards and Growing Grapes

General Information

Hello,

   This will be plain and simple. Done in Steps I followed.

1. You need a vineyard so build you one and it matters where you build one by cords.
2. Make sure you fish for food to fertalize your vines.
3. Plant your grapes.

    **A. Your Vines will have a life for 24 to 36 hours this only matters if you wish to get yourself a cutting for

future vines to plant. And yes you wish to get cuttings for a while to continue to grow grapes.

    **B. For every day your grapes are on the vine they make at least 1 sugar some make more sugar per day but that is listed in other pages so it is not repeated here.

4. Fertilize your grapes every 4 hours.

    **A. I have noticed that different fish on some of the different types of vines makes a difference on when it reaches it's peek in grape growth faster than other fish on that same vine but have not as yet documented that.

5. Take a vine cutting every 6 hours.
6. Water your grapes every 7 hours.

     **A. Now step 6 and 7 is only important thruough the life cycle of your vine.

Now you have done this through the life cycle of your vines so we move on to growing your grapes and getting your concentration up on your vines. {getting concentration up on your grapes is optional only}

7. Continue to fertilize your vines every 4 hours.
8. Now you will prune your vines every 10 hours.

    **A. When you prune your vines this cuts the grape count in half but drives up your concentration on the   vines. The concentration only matters I am told if you wish to make festival wines. I do it because I wish to make different wines than maybe could be made without the concentration being high just to see.

Okay a suggestion only one which I follow open a tab to another player one perhaps who no longer plays that character or maybe you have more than one character, make sure that you have the time stamp on your conversations. Now document your time of planting of fertilizing and prunning of your vines in each location you have them planted that way you can look at the tab and know the last time they were pruned or fertilized.

Other Notes

This growing guide is very short and noob friendly, we need a much better guide to growing vines and getting grapes from them. It also assumes you read some of the other pages. And yes you can grow nice vines even if you are not constantly online and in game I only play about 3 sometimes 4 days a week and at the moment am working on some vines in 3 different locations in Egypt. The concentration on those vines at the moment run from concentration 152 to 314 and some of the grape counts are up in the 1300 or so, they have been on the vine about 1 month real life time.
