Users > Emmanuel > The Challenge Of Architecture

Architecture is the next discipline of my challenges, and one of the most balanced. Cooperation lies at the center, as does communication; those Architects willing to advance must meet a strict time frame, and bring others to assist them -- through payment or sheer personality. Architects know well the price paid for a lack of communication; and if they do not, waste is the word for them.

Architects: I have found a plot of land ideal for building those skyscrapers you call 'monumental towers', and the immense towers you term obelisks. You may find yourselves a piece of this land, and there build an obelisk at least 50 cubits in height. This shall be the center of your group. Around them, build monumental towers of as many different types as you can.

Scoring

Main Obelisk - 50 points, doubled for every 50 cubits above the minimum of 50. Additional height will serve only as a tiebreaker.
Supplemental Towers - 20*2^n points per tower type, where N is each unique type minus one.

Architects may supply the materials for others to build other sets of towers, in their name. The winner of this contest will be hailed as the greatest in Egypt...and receive 12 Octec's Crystals. After all, why should Gharib's challenges be the sole proof of ability?

The building site is in the Valley of Kings, at -1188, 5293. The contest will end on the final minute of the 26th of February, at 11:59 PM EST.

Complete

The only participant was Jezebella, with four unique types of towers around a 200-cubit obelisk; the other three, built by Telanoc, BryceCicada, and Chelle, were worth nothing but notes. Her score, therefore, was 560. To her goes a full set of crystals, which I shall begin collecting now.

I have deleted prior comments, related to the Leadership challenge, not Architecture. Please refrain from responding with comments on other challenges; the page above this one is open for those who wish to question my social character. -Emmanuel
