In December I surveyed all mines in a region around RSO. The survey borders were 2000 on the west, the sea on the east. 3000 on the north and 1000 on the south.
I found;
Most of the 88 mines are very poor performers.

I've recently started to do some more research with the goals of identifying mine output characteristics, location patterns for ores, gems, dirt and limestone. I'm also planning on doing some smelting research. My Mining Research page has current information on my progress.
