I recently read (22 October, 2004) about a dust up over trader Malaki on Slashdot. I headed over to the ATITD page and started to read about it.
Later that evening, I downloaded the client and logged on. I've decided to go solo for the time being. I enjoy the process (and frustration) of discovery.
So far, I've only asked 2 questions of people; whether a student casting box had pinch rollers, and whether the server was acting funny for other people too.
This Wiki has been an invaluable tool for learning this game. I will also chart my progress here.
That the wiki shouldn't be used as a blog =)
