In an attempt to make grape trading/mixing easier, I am creating a new system to label all wine regions...

To find the name for your viticultural region...
- Get the x/y coordinates of your vineyard.
- Now, calculate:
- X = integer part of: 7 + (x coord)/512
- Y = integer part of: 17 + (y coord)/512
- Translate X and Y into letters, according to the tables below and put them side to side.

- Put the letters of XY together and add the vintage.
For example, vintage 10 grapes grown at (2816,5376) would be uniquely identified by the viticultural region and vintage WRA'10. Any sets of grapes with the same name are interchangeable when making wine...
