Large Distaff

The Large Distaff is a machine that spins various products into threads, cords, ropes and cables.

It takes slightly over twice the space in a compound as a Small Distaff, and has three times the capacity, but processes flax products at the same rate.

To build:

Required skill: Flax processing and Structure Reinforcement

Construction costs:

• 12 boards
• 100 bricks
• 10 wood
• 200 concrete
• 2 copper sheeting

Built: in a compound, uses 14x22 cells

Uses:

• spin 1 tow (capacity 300) into 3 twine, taking 1 minute
• spin 1 lint (capacity 300) into 15 thread
• spin 5 twine (capacity 300) into 1 rope, taking 1 minute
• spin 25 steel wire into 1 cable, if upgraded with a pinch roller
