Small Distaff

The Small Distaff is a machine that spins various products into threads, cords, ropes and cables.

It takes about half the space in a compound as a Large Distaff, and has only a third of the capacity, but processes flax products at the same rate.

Built: in a compound, uses 10x15 cells

Prior to becoming a citizen, you may build a small distaff outside a compound. After becoming a citizen, you must build it within one.

Uses:

• spin 1 tow (capacity 100) into 3 twine, taking 1 minute
• spin 1 lint (capacity 100) into 15 thread
• spin 5 twine (capacity 100) into 1 rope, taking 1 minute
• spin 25 steel wire (capacity 100) into 1 cable, if upgraded with a pinch roller
• spin ? thoth's metal wire (capacity 100?) into 1? [thoth's metal cable]?, if upgraded with a pinch roller
• spin ? [Octec's Alloy wire]? (capacity 100?) into 1? [Octec's Alloy cable]?, if upgraded with a pinch roller
