Requirement Basics

Requirements can be size (Giant, Dwarf, Giant x2, Dwarfx2) or color of leaves, stamen, inner petals, or outer petals (white, magenta, red, yellow, green, cyan, blue).

The sizes "Giant x2" and "Dwarf x2" exist only in crossbreeds. Normal size and Giant Dwarf (75%, 1 giant gene and 1 dwarf gene) exist but have not been requested; Giant Dwarf counts as Giant.

Color appears to be on a CMYK scale, not RGB. A useful program to get color values (turn lighting, time of day off) for roses (and paints) is Visual Color Picker (google it).

Where a standard flower can satisfy a requirement, we have not listed any hybrids, as the standard flowers are so much easier to get. "Hybrids" means this attribute only exists in hybrids; look in the table farther down to find a supplier, and if that fails, click the link to find the names of all reported flowers with the attribute so you can ask around for it by name.

MAAT ALERT: Please be sure to click on the flower YOURSELF to verify requirements if you have a PETAL requirement. The outer and inner petals were switched in T1 for some/all flowers (for Xenobotany and Maat) and so there may be incorrect data in the charts.
