Ingredients are listed alphabetically. So look for Abemeat vs Zebrameat, not Zebrameat vs. Apple.

The abemeat vs zebrameat is read like this: The reaction is 2 minutes negative for less abemeat than zebrameat, and 3 mins 23 secs for more abemeat than zebrameat. If they are in equal amounts, they react as if there was less abemeat than zebrameat.
I don't understand this 4 mutton 4 onion gives +2 endurance for 5mn 3 mutton + 4 onion and 4 mutton + 3 onion did nothing
What was the message displayed when the meal was consumed for each? Did you see the "does nothing for you message" in the 3/4 and 4/3 meals? Or did you just not get the stat boost when you ate? If the message is "you eat ...." without the "does nothing for you" then the timer was positive, even if your stats don't change.
I had this message: "You eat a bit, but the food doesn't really do anything for you.".
