The discipline of Thought is that of the puzzle designer. Each Thought test introduces a specific variety of puzzle or intellectual game. To pass the test, the player must craft a puzzle of their own specification, which is then played and evaluated by the other citizens of Egypt. Players who can design puzzles that are fun and challenging will do well in this discipline.
Note that success in the Thought discipline is all about skill at designing puzzles, not solving them. Of course, it's fun to play and solve Thought puzzles, but solving alone does not help one advance in the Thought discipline. Only puzzle designers pass the tests.
