Meteors & Meteor Locations

Throughout the Valley of Kings, there are several meteors scattered around the area. Those entering VoK have the option to place their tablet on various meteors, which are found throughout the region. When you place a tablet on a meteor, you get one of two messages, one indicating that the tablet doesn't appear to fit and slides off, and the second indicating "Not enough power surrounds this meteor." The first is far more common than the second.

If for some reason you come into posession of a second tablet it will be useless to you. Please don't waste the resources for other people to be able to enter and help solve this.

Our goal is to sucessfully match tablets with meteors, and thus 'power up' the tablets. Large numbers of people are needed to make the difference between 'not having enough power' and sucessfully powering up the tablet.

Also, a number of 'Monoliths' have been found in VoK. They give the option to "donate a whole tablet". Monoliths only accept "repaired tablets" (presumably 'powered up'). Locations are listed below the meteor locations.

Attempts at Meteor Matching

For those who have made a tablet and have extra Meteors, Rocks, or Stones -- please deposit them in the public chest at -1696 4345 in DoS near the entrance to VoK.
For those who do not have a tablet -- please take what you need to create one and return the rest.

I created a webpage for record tracking, I'm still adding features. But I think it is quite ready for now: http://armeagle.atitd.net/vok/. I added all entries from the table below, up to revision 676. I think the scripts have proven to work quite well now. It doesn't hurt to enter data here too, but feel free to use my webpage. --ArmEagle

For the purposes of this table, Tablet Success means that you get the needs more power message.

Please use ArmEagle's tool to keep track of tablet success and failure! It makes for a much easier overview for all of us.

MeteorData - some data has been recorded on the wiki which I have moved to its own page as this page has become unwieldy. Please use ArmEagle's Meteor Tracking Tool instead of the wiki to add new data as it is so much easier for everyone to view in his format. - Spicy
