This guild is set up to run a number of lottery/raffle events.
We run our own sponsored events as well as events for other organizations. The cost of a ticket varies depending on who is offering the prize and so of course prizes also will differ.
Different lotteries and raffles will have differing rules as to what information is released. Check each to see what format will be used.
There will be an event where the number of lottery tickets purchased goes directly to the prize pool. We will let you know when it happens, the first step is just getting the basic system running.
In order to purchase a ticket please /join channel 7 and ask to purchase a lottery ticket.

A raffle will have a predetermined prize package. Note that the raffle will be given a name such as Lottery #1, this is just for tracking purposes and is technically incorrect as it is a raffle. The format for naming lotteries and raffles has been set and will not change until other kinks in the system have been worked out.
Join Channel 7 and ask to purchase a lottery ticket
When a ticket sales representative contacts you please provice the following information
Number of tickets
Region you wish to purchase your tickets in
Name the ticket is for, typically yourself
Leave the chat window open and you will be told which chest to deposit your payment in. There is a building in every region.
Lottery winners can be selected in two ways.
Exact method
Match the number of the win four at http://www.nylottery.org/index.php the mid-day drawing the day after the lottery purchase ends.
Closest method
Be the closest ticket number to the win four. In the case of a tie, the people involved in a tie will chose new numbers and will match against the next win four until a winner is found.
Unless otherwise stated, you will be contacted and asked where you want the materials.
Materials will be transported to your site within 48 hours.
Whenever possible prizes will be on display in the 7L branch of the Lottery Commission located just NE of the UArch
