Frequently Asked Questions

Do you always release all your findings? If not, why not?

One of the goals of EMRA has always been to share its information with the public at large. But, we have run into a case where we feel that it would be less responsible to immediately release the information than to take some time to evaluate the impact on Egypt before we do. The specific case we are talking about are Volatile Explosives. The information Egypt was given when he released this for research was that Volatile Explosives could cause damage to property in Egypt, even possibly kill a person. It is unlikely that at the same time we could start to research Volatile Explosives a new level of Chariot Repair was released.

It is our intention to release the information once we have had an opportunity to see what the explosives can do in terms of destruction, that Egypt has had time to digest this information, and take whatever action it deems appropriate. This might include legislation, it might not. We cannot know what the course of action that is most fitting until we know what we are dealing with. Once Egypt has decided on the course it believes to be correct, we will release whatever information we have. It would be irresponsible of EMRA to release the information knowing there is a potential danger and not attempt to ascertain its nature.

Who decided EMRA should be the keepers and guardians of this? No one but ourselves. As stated before, we feel we have a responsibility to provide Egypt with all the facts of the impact of this potentially dangerous new technology. We have been open about this from the start, trying to raise the matter several times in the in game channel of E!
