Tellers

For service contact a teller who is on: Ur-man, Lilith, Trin. If no one is on, please be patient as we deal with the real world.

Our Operating Philosophy

The Small Lots Souk Stall was opened to ensure newer players have the ability to get items needed for advancement. Most items can be traded for at the Goods, but when no teller is available we can provide basic necessities at basically the same price. This shop supplements, not supplants, The Goods

We believe that self-sufficient Egyptians are happy Egyptians. So, while our first motto is "Small Lots at Good Prices", our second motto is "Nothing for Nothing." We charge a price - a fair price - for everything.

Our basic operating procedures are as follows:

1. Prices in Small Lots Souk Stall will be based* on spot prices in The Goods, and we will update the prices weekly or thereabouts. If the prices have not been updated in a week, they may be updated before a trade is handled at the clerk's discretion.

2. We will limit the amount of goods traded to prevent fluctuations from The Goods prices. For each item we trade we will list a "max trade". We aren't interested in selling more than this number of this item to a single customer.

3. Our mission is to help the newer Egyptians with the items they need for advancement. If you are higher than level 10 or 12: sorry - we see no urgency in helping you; everything we sell you should be able to get on your own.

4. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

5. The "souk shekel" is a notional currency. Trades will be the player's commonly collected items for our trade items; we will round off the players payment in our favor as needed.

(*Prices are rounded off/up for ease of trade.)

Current Merchandise

Our current stock includes:
Leather Need 2 for Exploration Travel
Jugs Need 10 clay for Pottery
Cuttable Stone Need 2 for pulleys for mining
Medium Stone Need for 2 flywheels or 1 nail mould or 1 crucible
Copper Wire For first huge chest
Nails For one improved brick rack
Carpentry Blade Valued at 3 * (cheaper of iron or copper)
Sheep Will sell one pair per customer - cost as if 4 leather
Let us know of other items that might be useful for newer players.

Our intent is to take commonly gathered materials as payment. Currently payment can be made in wood, silt (easily gathered in clay run south of us), and slate.
