Here's the spreadsheet to download: JoebsCookingSheetR6.xls

Disclaimer

First I will start with the disclaimers: 1. It’s not perfect for a number of reasons. The potency of all ingredients changes over time depending on how much that ingredient is used. 2. The exact formula used to calculate the final stats has not been published but this is pretty close. 3. There are many herbs that because of their relationship to other ingredients have not had their potency calculated accurately. I have estimated these based on relative rarity.

Other than all that it actually works pretty well.

How It Works

There are three sheets. The first is a complete plot of all available ingredients. The second is an alphabetical listing of all ingredients with their stats and potency. For some there are other ingredients which are close to them. The third sheet is used for calculating a meal.

I usually start by identifying the additive I will use to get the stats I am trying for. Below the meal calculation section, on the third sheet, is a sortable list of ingredients. Using filters you can find ingredients that give you the stats you are looking for and the other ingredients distance from your chosen ingredient.

If an ingredient line is not used select ZNothing as the ingredient and zero out the quantity.

I usually find an ingredient pair that gives me the stats I am looking for and then sort the ingredient list to show me other ingredients that give the same stats and have a small distance from the base.

Enter the amount of each ingredient to the right of the name. All base ingredients need to have the same amount. Remember that one serving is 7 ingredients. If you need more servings increase the base. There is no need to increase the additive, it will have the same effect on stats.

You can only have as many base selections as you cooking level. If an ingredient pair is not being used select ZNothing for both the base and the additive.

Both the stats and the meal duration is effected by the Distance between ingredients on the chart. The closer they are the greater the duration and stats.

Hope it Works for You
