Guilds > The Revolution

The guildhall is built, just off the Karnak chariot stop, at 1393 -878. No longer an idea, we are again a reality!

We, the People of Egypt...

ARE FED UP with Pharaoh's social experiment. ARE TIRED of navigating levels and progressions of citizenship. KNOW BETTER on what constitutes a perfect society. WILL NO LONGER COMPETE with those who game tests unfairly.

A perfect society is not one that builds obelisks, chases mushrooms, or votes on districts. A perfect society is one that understands the people, the land, and how best it coexists. It is time to take back what has wrongfully been taken from us; our lives.

Let Pharaoh and The Stranger puzzle over how we did not build a perfect society because we did not build their seven squandrous monuments. Let them berate and chide us on our lack of accomplishements. And let us, with one voice, tell them that our accomplishments are our own, and not of their choosing.

Long Live The People. Long Live The Revolution.

The Revolution was founded towards the middle of Tale 2 by Slyfeind-Hotep, as a reaction against Malakai (the sexist and racist trader) and Pharaoh's sanctioning of him in our land. The Revolution attracted a few others, but unfortunately, the Telling was too far underway to make much of a difference. Now, with the introduction of levels, the progression of players has gotten more muddled and confusing. With the loss of the Conflict discipline, and the introduction of the Harmony discipline, Egypt has lost all challenge. It is now a railroad of systems, like any other virtual world out there.

The only way to avoid gaming tests is to not participate in those tests. The only way to get around the level system is to not acknowledge it. The only way to truly explore our world is to do it without the chains that Pharaoh has bound us in.

Long Live The People. Long Live The Revolution.

This is not a guild of griefers. Any member caught griefing in the name of the Revolution will be removed immediately. Otherwise, we welcome all like-minded people.
