Laws > Drafts > Guild Property Salvage Restrictions

Currently any object that has been given to a guild can be salvaged by a guild member with the rank of Fellow or higher. For example, a chest could be restricted to Elders to take from the chest, yet a Fellow could salvage the chest and gain access to items contained within.

Upon passage of this law, any future instance of a object being donated to a guild, salvage restrictions will be placed on the item that is equal to the rank of the person donating the item. In the event that someone who is a Kinsman or lower donates a chest, the salvage permissions will be set to Fellow. Any item built within a guild compound will have their salvage restrictions set to Elder. Any item donated by someone who is not a member of the guild will have the salvage restrictions set to the level of Elder. Anyone who meets the rank of the salvage restrictions will have the ability to modify them. Any chest that has a log placed on it, can only be salvaged by a guild Elder. Any existing guilded item will keep the same salvage restrictions which is set to Fellow.
