Who Cares
Initiation Sculptures and Thoth's Puzzles that have not received favorable votes during the previous game month (about 10 days RL) may be torn down by anyone, subject to the following conditions:
- The addition of 10 rotproof treated boards per sculpture base, by anyone, shall serve in lieu of the sequequent monthly favorable votes.
- No piece may be torn down during its first game month, except by its owner.
- Favorable is defined as any vote other than Eyesore or Fraud, including repeated votes that do not otherwise effect the score.
- Any piece that has achieved a rating of monumental shall be exempt.
- If no visible indication is available, monumental shall be defined as the top ranked 10% of pieces in each category (Initiation Sculptures and Thoth's Puzzles).
- No salvageable material shall remain when a piece is torn down.
Commentary
- It will take four to eight game weeks for a piece to become vulnerable to abatement, depending on when it was built.
- If you wish to care for a piece, doing so during the last few days of the game month is the most effective approach, or simply add some rotproof treated boards.
- If you wish to clear an area, doing so during the first few days of the next game month is the most effective approach.
This law is intended to focus attention on truly excellent pieces, and on recent works.
