Some possible facts about camels
- The regions camels wander are not the same as the regions that we use to name parts of Egypt.
- It is unknown wether the gender distribution of camels are 50% male and 50% female
- Camels seem to nibble at the straw in some pens and not in others. Perhaps indicating that this particular pen is close to the winning one?
- If two pens tie for most straw, the camel will not entery any pen (can any one confirm this?)
- Camels stud. This means that there is an optimal ratio of males to females. This appears to be 1 male for 4 females.
- If a pen contains 10 camels of one gender it starts to produce pheromones. Is this stil the case? Are there any known uses for the pheromones?
In order to gather some hard facts about the wild camels of Egypt, please fill in the following data once you get a camel. If you feel that the amount of straw will give other an advantage, you can leave it out for now. Please note that the location should be the coordinates, and not only the name of the region.
