Note: The amount of resources needed with smelting pots (25 cc/94 ore=8 metal) is 2825 cc, 7050 iron ore, 3572 copper ore (less, but rounded up to a full batch), plus the casting time of 60 minutes requires 900 beeswax, an additional 250 cc startup cost and 120 cc for cooling time.
