Silkworm farms can only be built and tended by those that have the Silkworm Farming skill, which becomes available at level 28.

Silkworms generate raw silk when fed the proper thistle. Silkworms are not items, per se, rather they are an intermediate step between Thistles and Raw Silk.

The following production information is based on Tale 1 information. It needs to be confirmed for Tale 3.

There are 3 parts to a silkworm's lifecycle:

• Moths - 12 hours
• Eggs - 3 days - During this period you can determine and load the type of Thistle that is required.
• Silkworms - 12 hours

Raw silk output ranges from 1 - 1.2 raw silk per Thistles. (It takes 50 raw silk to make one silk cloth.)
