Speed of the Serpent is a skill taught by the University of the Human Body. The skill allows one to concoct a cocktail (at a kitchen) of cobra venom, cobra blood, and garlic. When consumed, this beverage will grant one free waypoint. You need to have passed all initiations to be allowed to learn this skill, otherwise a message will tell your that "Speed of the Serpent is only avialable to those with strong mind, body and spirit. You must have passed all initiation Tests before you are ready to learn this skill and sustain it's effects."
Drinking the cocktail causes permanent harm. Anyone who drinks it must then consume a glass of cabbage juice once every 28 days, or die. Death is permanent.
"Wow, that *REALLY* hit the spot. You feel renewed. You won't die for another 28 days."
Current speculation is that a 2nd dose of cocktail may halve the time between cabbage juice drinks. There is a 24 hour timer before a further dose of Serpent Cocktail can be taken.
