Born in the land of my grandfather, Karnak, I crossed the country up north to Lower Egypt... where the Nile meets the sea. I have left the industrialized center and went to live along the seaside... its a wonderfull sunrise my fellow Egyptians.
My grandfather 1 left me the legacy of Master of Conflict, a discipline that seems to have been lost in time and as such I am still debating on where to go next. Always fascinated by the Thought and Leadership disciplines I make my best to challenge others in my puzzes and in our every day life, as I think that constantly bettering ourselves is the way to move Egypt forward.
After more than a year away from Egypt I decided to return. Chaos guild in Karnak took me in and I am now living with Pandemonis and Psychodelica in a very pretty place.
I like solving puzzles and I am trying to design some good ones. I would appreciate your feedback if you try to solve my puzzles.
I have my Tomb of the Immortar near University of Body in Karnak (1125 ; -1052). It opened only in July 2008 so if you're looking for reason points take a look.
I have my Pathmaker just south of the Chariot Stop in Karnak (1395 ; -976).
The law aims to find a fair method of removing sculptures that are considered by the populace to detract from the beauty of the landscape of Egypt. It aims to provide a method for artists to be creative and keep the landscape pretty while avoiding griefing art as well as griefing votes.
1) All sculptures must be open for judging 7 days after the base of the sculpture has been built. This prevents people who would cause grief with sculptures from avoiding judgement of their sculptures as eyesores.
2) Any sculpture with 20 more eyesore votes than interesting votes will be able to be torn down by any citizen of Egypt.
3) Any sculptures that are torn down in the spirit of point 2) will not be salvageble by any citizens. This will prevent other citizens from voting eyesore on good art just to claim building materials.
Many things have been said about this, not only concerning my acts but also those of others in LE and other regions as well. For those that don't know some people across Egypt (almost all regions) decided to setup a queue system for passing the first test of Architecture - Obelisk. I challenged this system by an attempt of breaking it, some people called me griefer and although I have explained my position on the forums 2 I think it should be written down here in my own page the reasons why I did it:
1) I believe the nature of the test is to be competitive, as such I see the queue as "gaming" the test. As I oppose any sort of gaming I made it my own business to challenge the queue system.
2) I believe the queue system benefits a few and dictates to the majority what and when they should do.
3) The queue system is unfair to those that were not online when the queue started.
4) One of the organizers of the queue was rude to all the community when threathning on the wiki anyone that did not respect the queue. I don't think we all should bow down to such people.
Most of all Egyptian citizens should not be dictated by a few... and also... the easy way is not always the best way.
I understand if we disagree on this, I just hope we can agree to disagree.
