Elenai's dream.

The stars are fading from the sky, almost imperceptibly the sky is lightening on the horizon. The wind that has gusted along the corridors of the ages grows still and silent, time is stopped here just for a moment. The silken black water ripples against the shore and from it a girl emerges like a dark creature of the sea, and lies dripping on the shore. She wipes the water from her eyes and looks around, she has been here before but it is not familiar yet and she has not the strength to move. The sun begins to lift into the sky; the first rays of sun on the first day warm her and she feels her strength begin to return. Khepri smiles on her as he begins his never ending journey into the skies pushing the sun disc ahead of him to light the world.

The girl sits up and watches the colours of the sunrise painting the sky, a sense of peace comes to her. She cannot think of what came before, but she is glad she has come to the shore. She looks behind her, there stands a young man offering to her his hand. She rises, and together they walk towards the hills to begin their new life.
