About Mahotep
Mahotep has been a citizen of Egypt since September 2006. In his childhood he was mentored by the late Hutintut as well as by DustiTwister. During this time, he discovered the pleasures of hookah smoking, cicada hunting and putting up controversial statues (one of which may still be viewed in Seven Lakes on the bridge near UArt). He soon married the beautiful Franka and spent a happy but brief period exploring Egypt together with her. Following her unfortunate early expiration, Mahotep spent some time drifting, half-heartedly pursuing tests and not doing his chores. Supported by his wonderful friends in the Kemet Crew of 7L, however, he quickly found new joy in egyptian life, particularly in mentoring and contributing to the advancement of Egypt through research. He has become an avid papyrus farmer and crematory operator, and sells papyrus products, lime, ash and glass at discount prices, particularly to newer players. He has recently spent much time in Upper Egypt, enjoying the company of his newest good friends, as well as learning to bellydance. Known for working hard and partying harder, Mahotep can now be commonly found in Upper Egypt and Seven Lakes, where he enjoys both coastal and 'urban' life. Mahotep loves to party... at the slightest provocation he will bring out the hookah and wine and is always willing to supply herbs. Chief among his current pursuits is a study into the effects of 'clinker poisoning', as well as an ongoing effort to monitor Egypt for signs of land degradation as new technologies are developed. Mahotep is currently attempting the tests of the Funerary Temple, Khefre's Children, Acro, Safari, Oyster Catcher, Freeman, Prophet and Pilgrim. Recent news in Mahotep's life is here...
