Herb Picking event - 2007/09/15

Well, I think I did quite well here - I met my personal goal of picking 1,000 debens of herbs.

Target Herb - Common Basil	I found 24 deben	Prizes Top 49 scores - 49 Malaguete Lottery prize of a Flight of Fancy Lottery prize of one Chukkah	I came in 13th
Total debens collected	I found 1029 deben	Prizes Top 49 scores - 49 Kuka Top 7 scores - 49 Sticky Root Lottery prize of 5 Jaivanti	I came in 3rd
Mystery Herb (Verdant Squill)	I found 23 deben	Prizes Top 49 scores - 21 Rooibos Lottery prize of 5 Octec's Grace	I came in 15th
Number of different herbs found	I found 98 herbs	Prizes Top 49 scores - 49 Ukpo Top 7 scores - 49 Golden Dubloons	I came in 3rd

My Pappy planting routine

I hate backtracking, so I worked out this loop that has minimal unnecessary running about.

1. Go to Seven Lakes Chariot Stop
   Ask in regional channel if anyone else planning to plant NORTH of UoT.
2. Head North, and cross the Nile to the West bank at the first bridge
3. Go up to the Nile Bridge close to the University of Thought [ 1457 2350 ]
4. Run North
   As you cross into Upper Egypt, ask in regional channel if anyone else is planting
5. Plant 30 handfuls each 10 cords to about [ 1450 2660 ]
   That will grow pappy up to the next bridge.
6. Run back to about [ 1452 2560 ]
7. Wait about 5 min's, or until you see some plants
8. Run North and pick your plants, cross over the next bridge, head South, and back to your starting spot

Yield is about 100 papyrus per run. Bring 150 handfuls for 5 runs and a full load. Each loop takes about 30 mins.

On the last run, let UE and 7L know you are finished
