My contribution to the great waste of resources culminated lately in the completion of a 68 cubit Desert Obilisk. This erection ;-) stands almost in the middle of Qatara proper.

Well I am in the Demi-Pharaoh hunt for the first time since I've been playing this game. As of this edit there are 2 days and 16 hours before we have to elect one of us to go to the next round. Players in the group are WaggPhysh, TpcT, Balthazarr, Vixsin, Baine, Olabisi and Ouroboros.

UPDATE - I made it through Round 1 but in Round 2 it turned into a popularity contest. That's not my kind of game. Since it is a LEADERSHIP test it should reflect a persons leadership skills, not how much they talk and socialize, or how recognizable the persons name is. Oh well....
There is the folly of striving to build a Pyramid, but alas, the little pyramid builders of Egypt have hungrily built all except for the most monstrous of killer pyramids, which pretty much would take a city of citizens striving around the clock for weeks on end, missing sleep, playing with children and pets, loving the wife, etc, etc, etc.. Still kicking this one around...
The Qatara Pyramid Project is underway! The site is out south of Cat Mountain in North Central Qatara at -720, 6440. There is a guild house on site. Project started on January 13th. Currently working on materials for glass rods.
