What do you enjoy most about mentoring?

Helping people. It gives me a good feeling when I help someone and it's just a hobby I have found to like in ATiTD.

What do you find most difficult about mentoring?

The many questions that rapidly comes up from a mentee once in a while and answering them right.

Where do you find it easier to mentor - on the island or the mainland, and why?

On the island, because one difficulty I find on the mainland when mentoring is finding a mentee when they've gone exploring and gotten lost. Also, because every single one of the people on the island have one goal instead of a broad range of objectives. It's much easier for me to teach people on the island and get them a headstart on the mainland.

How would you describe your mentoring style?

Laid back and to the point.

Whats the most important thing to teach / do for a new player?

Teaching them the basics and the Wiki. Because with the basics they can do most everything they need to 'survive' and the Wiki can be used as more help for a more definite answer to a question if for some reason I'm not able to answer it.

Whats the best, or easiest, kind of student to teach?

One who actually wants to learn something instead of just using Mentors as a resource. They're usually the one that is the most fun to be around and to talk to.

What problems have you encountered while mentoring, and how were they resolved?

None, I haven't found problems while mentoring.

What makes you a 'good' mentor?

IDK, depends on what one's definition of 'good' is.
