Annoucing another Towering Palm Society-sponsored Free Bureau!
Based on the rousing successuss of my first Bureau, I am happy to again combine the best features of a free bureau and an organized one. The official hiring policy will be "Hire whom you trust" similar to the ones organzied by Telanoc and Lill. Just to be explicit, this is a vastly different policy than "Hire anyone you like."
As part of the organized chaos, this bureau is also an official Towering Palm Society bureau, so welcome TPS'ers!
The second bureau was also an overwhelming success. Despite a somewhat slow start with several missing prospective hires, it soon grew and ended with 306 members, which is amazing considering there are only 1206 paid players. Thank you to all who participated, and congratulations to the passers!
The success is a little bit surprising to me; I had limited play time while the bureau was running, and it was set up on very short notice. Add to that my lower position due to passing and I paid less attention to this one than to my first. Perhaps less attention = bigger bureau = more points?
The one problem I noticed was a failure in some parts to properly record the hires. While the bureau had 306 members, only 264 of the hires were properly recorded in the wiki. (There was some confusion on whether TPS hires should be recorded here or in the TPS private pages; these statistics are based on infomation from both places)
To encourage people to properly document their hires, the recognition below is based solely on the hires recorded on the wiki.
