Pricing and Trading information

The table shows the cost to make 10 debians (the minimum order) of that color paint -- most colors let you pick from two recipies. I also charge a service fee of 10% of each ingredient used rounded up. This means that for small jobs the total charge will be up to double the cost of the paint.

Specific examples: Buy 100 debians of Chocolate paint for 88 carrots and 22 clay, or buy 10 debians of DodgerBlue paint for 2 saltpeter, 2 copper, 2 silver, 2 clay, 2 redsand, and 7 cabbagejuice.

All trades are done in Seven Lakes, near The Goods. If we are both available simultaneously, I will be glad to trade in person (making the paint is just a few minutes). But there is no reason to spend days trying to arrange a meeting -- I have some customer chests just west of my compound compound (approximate coordinates are 1566, 1897). Pick one, verify that it is empty and owned by Yendor, stash your stuff and chat me with the chest number. I'll put your paint in the same chest and temporaily transfer ownership to you the next time I'm online. Please give the empty chest back to me within a few days.

Double Satisfaction Guarantee

Other ATITD painters have only a few "confirmed" recipies. Yendor is the first player to guarantee all 142 colors (some made by Yendor'sSlave).

My guarantee is very simple: If I can not turn your payment into the correct color of paint, you will receive double your payment back within 24 hours. So pay with confidence even for rare and difficult colors (pure blue, lime, Snow, ...)

Disclaimer: Guarantee is only for paid orders (no hypothetical "Bet you can't make ..."), and is only valid if the Last edited tag at the bottom of this page reads "Yendor". For very large orders, only the first 200 debian portion will be doubled.

Custom Recipies

The recipies I have listed are based on my own playstyle -- I have lots of silver powder, tons of clay and redsand, and almost no mushrooms. Experperienced players are welcome to use Practical Paint to search for alternate recipies. You tell me what to mix at your risk and I'll do it for 10% of whatever is mixed. The bottom of this page has two attachments with my and my slave's reactions.

The Colors

See a color chart at http://atitd.centauri.org/colors. There is a selection of screenshots of painted compound walls at http://perl.atitd.wiki/tale2/Guides/Paint/Brick_Compound_Colors.
