WindridersGhost

Dear friends of Egypt:

I was recently approached by a Ghost. The Ghost of someone who once befriended me, mentored me and in effect took me under his wing and then died of a heart transplant over a year ago. Windrider of Guild Windward Ways. Two days, ten hours and twenty nine mintues ago I was sadly proven to be a fool. Something none of us I suspect, would ever hope to be. The facts are these ... A man, unknown to me, approached me claiming to be "Windrider". Our conversation took many turns yet, in it's course of confusion I challenged him to prove his claimed identity by logging on as "windrider" Which he did. I felt like I'd been hit by a train. You see dear reader, over a year ago I grieved and mourned the RL death of my friend, now to find I had been duped. Tricked... it was all a hoax. "Windrider" lives and breaths this very day under an assumed name, tutincomon, in Karnak.

It is beyond my thinking how someone could spend three years... aye, from T1 playing by the side of another and then crucify, not only me, but everyone who knew him, repected him, trusted and loved him ... by faking his death. What gets me even more is to come back now and confront me with this... with no remorse. It is at this time I realize that this kind of seduction (for lack of better word, if you will) must happen alot in this thing we call the "online" experience. Perhaps the nature of the beast? But to the point that true crimes are committed upon one another? We were totured with his slow death... first the the illness... then months of his bodies heart rejection, then his slow death. A memorial was errected in his name. (search wiki: windrider) It's time to set the record straight. I miss my best friend, his wife Barhi, who could no longer continue to play after his "death". I know no matter how ironic it may seem, this person "windrider" changed our real lives forever. Beware dear citizens, some are wolves in sheeps clothing, some are obviously snakes and some are true angels. It is my hope that there might be more angels than vipers among us. And that we might have the insight to tell the difference.

Sincerely, TeaAira live long, be well ... aloha
