Initiation Into Art

To begin the initiation into art, visit a School of Art.

In order to pass the initiation, you must build a sculpture and collect 20 "interesting" votes of appreciation. A sculpture requires:

Once you have built the framework for a sculpture, you may place and position objects in it to create an artwork. Take care--once you place an object in a sculpture, it cannot be taken back out again! Even if a sculpture is salvaged, only the linen, rope, and boards from the building cost can be recovered.

Any citizen may register a vote of appreciation on your sculpture. Once you have collected 20 votes of appreciation, visit your sculpture to complete the initiation.

The ease with which a sculpture can be made has resulted in some phenomenal works of art. Inspiration can be found lurking around on atitd.net's archives. Anyone with a good idea and a little time can make a beautiful sculture.
