The Nile runs through
Old Egypt,
Midland Valley,
River Plains,
Seven Lakes and
Playground of Pharaohs/
South Egypt (sections E-F on the
Regions map). It contains fertile lands, and is the only place in Egypt where
Papyrus grows.
