A carpentry shop is for the production of boards and other objects. In order to produce anything other than slateshovel, you need to fit the shop with a carpentry blade. (Not strictly true - sledgehammers and clay lamps at least can be built on one that has had its blade wear out. - S.P.)
Inspecting the blade gives a minimum number of boards (or fails) that the blade will plane before dulling (success is Perception based, with a 120 second Focus timer).
Upgrade with a Vice Bench (150 nails and 12 boards) in order to make a loom frame.
Output | Input | Notes |
1 boards | 1 wood | Can be automated but only at 1 per 2 seconds approx., and you must stand there and watch. |
1 Loom Frame | 6 boards, 80 nails, 70 copperwire | Used to construct a Hand Loom |
1 slateshovel | 1 Stone Blade, 2 boards | Will suffice until you can get hold of a proper Shovel |
1 Sledgehammer | 1 boards, 5 iron | Used to smash a Medium Stone into gravel |
1 Clay Lamp | 1 Jug, 10 clay, 1 canvas | Can only be built by starting the Test of Towers |
