There are various types of plants in egypt, this page attempts to catalog them and also link to pages with more specific information on the varieties that can be grown and what other things can be done with each particular plant type.

Name	Notes
Flax	Available in multiple varieties.
Wood	Wood bearing plants provide wood and generally accept saltpetre
Thorns	Thorns bearing plants provide thorns, there are many many varieties
Onions	Onions are generally grown to be fed to sheep
Barley	Barley is for beer, necter of the gods! (It's why most worship oracles are lushes hehehe)
Leeks	Leeks can be added to a bonfire to make ash
Papyrus	Papyrus is used to produce paper, and can also make ash when added to a bonfire
Carrots	Carrots make good bunny food
Cabbage	Cabbage, Stinky food
Garlic	Very similar to Onions, but can't be fed to the Sheep
Grass	Dried to straw it has various uses including bricks and camel feed
Mushrooms	Various types have various effects and can be used in a multitude of things
Herbs	New this telling, we have some kind of herbalism coming
