Tar is gathered from tar pits (infinite pick up, but 1 tar per click). Weight is 20 per tar. A +strength carry recipe may be useful for bulk transport.Uses for tar include:
- 20 to build an Aqueduct Water Tower.
- 4 to build a Ferry Boat.
- 20 to build a Marble Tub.
- 15 to build a Scent Lab.
- 20 to build an Long-Range Ferry.
- a variable amount to build a Tale of Journey (for the Test of the Covered Cartouche).
- a variable amount to build a Twist of Study (for the Test of the Covered Cartouche).
- as an ingredient in wood treatment.
- as a binding ingredient in some types of pyrotechnics designed on a Star Rack.
- 300 needed for Ferry Construction Two research.
