There now is also a Chronology of the whole story, mainly aimed at people who don't want to bother with technical stuff (research datas, chemistry details, etC.) and would just like to quickly understand what happened so far.
Chest Contents: In the chest at 1803, 7538 is now an option to "Accept Reward" which gives a set of Instructions for an "Essential Macerator". In the nearby basket, another "Accept Reward" option give a Recipe for Lung Spore Treatment (Improved), the treatment that prevents reinfection for 2 weeks. Both rewards are limited to one per person, but it is not know how many it will give out. However, Ktisibios has refreshed the chests several times, allowing for more rewards to be given.
You can make the two-week Cure once you have the right Resins and Spirits. To just cure the immediate illness, you need to go to the SBody (while you are well) to get a recipe, grind 10 Powdered Jade, add 1 Cabbage Juice, and then find a Verdant Squill that you can eat fresh from the ground.

Ktisibios Was encountered at his camp by Telanoc At 11:30 pm on Shemu IV-17 in the second year of the telling. He was in search of wine and food. He was brought down to Lolli Camp and shown the finest in Egyptian Hospitality. After that, he looked at many of our buildings, including acid baths, a chem lab, mason benches, and an alembic. He also revealed that the crates we have been finding were his, and while he is not concerned about retrieving the contents, he is concerned that, when more crates are found, we let him know, and not open them ourselves, as highly toxic substances are inside many of them.
He did enquire about our affliction (Lung Spore Disease) and was wanting to aid us in our efforts to find a cure. He commented that many of our technologies were primitive, and is going to help us further our knowledges on chemistry.
He wanted to build a number of buildings in order to aid us in our research. He asked for the materials to construct
In addition, he asked for Wine, Mutton, Salt, 200 Papy Paper, and 200 Ink, which the citizens of Egypt are in the final stages of rounding up and proving for him.

With the Formula: Lung Spore Treatment (Improved) in your inventory, our Level 3 chem lab now gives us the option (under the "Mix..." menu) to "Convert a Compound into Improved Lung Spore Treatment. This requires that we have:
It's not currently known whether these requirements are the same in all chem labs. Compound properties are determined by testing completed Essential Compounds with Litmus Test: Blank Positive and Litmus Test: Blank Negative. To test, you must have the Essential Compound and the Litmus Tests in your inventory. The test option is under your avatar's "Skills..."/"Lab Work..." options. Testing with each Litmus Test will result in a message in your Main chat, telling you what properties were discovered. As an example, you might get the message "You examine the compound, using a Litmus Strip. It shows an elevated level of Salty." The strip you tested with then turns into something like "Litmus Test: Salty Positive". Testing with a negative strip will result in another message, detailing another type of result. In the case of the compound I tested, it resulted in "...a decreased level of Aromatic" and the strip turned into "Litmus Test: Aromatic Negative".
A compound that is Positive Spicy and Negative Bitter did not match requirement for Spicy (++++) Astringent (=). So we have to be more precise than we can test with Litmus Tests -- Eigam
I tried a +Bitter compound that didn't work. I would suggest not adding anything to the chest until we can make them all. The chest and the cure compound are currently our only ways to test compounds for known data points. -- Gumby Boldface added for emphasis. This is a GOOD idea.

Must understand, is not enough for just positive or negative.
Is possible to be more positive, more negative. Your tools not show this.
Must use techniques indirectly. Many tests with different compounds. Must understand what essences do individually.
Test compound with an essence, test with other essence, understand what it does.
Powers of essences too strong, must be combined with others to get clear indication.
This way, you understand what essences do, indirectly. Is much work.

Sounds to me like he's jealous of love being in the air, with Mithrandu and Ahhutu falling in love and the cupids being around. Maybe he loves Mithrandu too? There's a very fine line between love and hate.
The screenshots of the piles of metal with rods sticking out the top reminds me that he wanted us to take him bars of iron, silver and gold. Water metal conducts electricity - maybe that is the rod? Not too sure where the zinc he wanted would come in, but how might we make some kind of battery? Maybe the Aurum (for combining with Lunarium and Hydrageum to make Orichalcum) is made from iron, silver and gold bars zapped with electricity somehow, or maybe there is some way to use those to make a power source - "the power of the gods".
Did his experiments with this blow up his camp? Or he smashed it all up on purpose? Or did he have enough explosives with him to blow it up? - Spicy

Orichalcum
The term derives from the Greek ορείχαλκος, oreichalkos (from όρος, oros, mountain and χαλκός, chalkos, copper or bronze), meaning "mountain copper" or "mountain metal"this might be what he meant when he talked about the man on the mountain. The Romans transliterated "orichalcum" as "aurichalcum", which was thought to literally mean "gold copper". It has been alternatively held to be a gold/copper alloy, a copper-tin or copper-zinc brass, or a metal no longer known to man.
