Apparently, (some of?) the folks who opened the crates have come down with an illness called Zanialmydiya which currently presents with occasional coughing and a random long stat timer. See more here.
Emmanuel: No matter. The past may give us lessons, but the future holds more. What we do today is just as essential as yesterday's work; tomorrow's not yet as crucial. So, here I propose the formation of those two groups, in honesty. Those who follow the path of the Stranger, to challenge themselves and those around...or those who follow the path of the Pharaoh, to ensure harmony by any means possible.
is there a link ? Are we opening the Pandore's crate ??
I do not personally believe that Emmanuel's recent E! posts have anything to do with the recent crate events. Our great-grand parents were subject to the diatribes of Emmanuel's ancestors as well, this could just be another rant of frustration with the lack of action by our Pharaoh and his agents. - Myn
Received a Sand Bloom Bulb and a Template:Spanner Wrench
Clicking it allowed me to inspect it. Inspecting it resulted in the following dialogue box "Hmm, there might have been something there, but you just make a mess of it. You need Botanical Information, preferably level-2, to avoid destroying the delicate weed."

After opening the crate, the opener was tested for Lung Spore disease and found to be NEGATIVE
7 of these crates were located and opened. All had the same contents as those listed above. At 11:30PM, Shemu IV-14, Crate number 8 was found. It had the following contents:
The Plate: Mason's Bench Upgrade allows for the printing of Instructions: Mason's Bench Upgrade. Printing requires Lesser Instruction Ink and papyrus paper. With the Instruction in your inventory, you are given the option to "Upgrade this Mason's Bench to cut marble". The upgrade requires 500 crushed diamonds, and stands a chance to use up the Instructions. Once upgraded, the Mason's Bench can crush Oyster Shell Marble and make a White Alabaster Mortar. -Degas-
Update
Here's what we know so far: With Primoz's help, we now have 3 plates installed in our presses (LE 700,6300). Those are: Sharp Edge Blade, Lesser Instruction Ink, and Mason's Bench Upgrade. In order to print a "Formula: Lesser Instruction Ink", you need regular ink (5 iron salts, 5 charcoal and 20 oil, made in a Chem Lab), and 1 papyrus paper. When you click on a Level 3 Chem Lab with the Lesser Ink Formula in your inventory, you get a new option under the "Manufacture..." menu: Lesser Instruction Ink. When you try to make this ink, you get a message that it requires 5 Salts of Strontium, 5 Powdered Black Pearl, and 22 Oil.
When you try to print templates from either the Sharp Edge Blade or Mason's Bench Upgrade plates, you receive a popup message informing you that you need Lesser Instruction ink to print these templates. -Degas-
Note FoA level 3 chem lab asks for 8 Salts of Strontium, 8 Powdered Black Pearl, and 33 Oil instead.
An unusual camp was found at 1806, 7543 along the same strech of shore we have been finding the crates.
All of the items were built be one Ktisibios. Since the crates in his camp and the crates we have found thus far bear a strikig resemblence, they could be connected. There was no sign of the owner at the camp. The Story Continues
