Crossbreeding

Crossbreeding is the technique of taking two plants and making a single new plant out of them.

Crossbreeding is accomplished in a Greenhouse, by using one of the item to be crossed (vine cuttings, flower bulbs, flax seeds) on each of the two "splints" in the greenhouse and one Nut's Essence.

Once the splints are loaded, and the Nut's Essence is applied, you'll have to wait 15 minutes. During this time, one new item will be made from the two you put in, bearing some of the genetics of each of the parents. You can then remove it and use it as you would normally an item of that type.

This probably goes without saying, but it is only possible to cross an item with a like item (roses with roses, vines with vines, etc.). It is not possible to cross two items that are identical in name except via Mutagenics.
