Overview

Some of the research techs that A.R.K. are working on involve gearboxes of a certain type to be made. This page covers optimized designs and resource requirements for making those gearboxes.

Please speak to Inshepsut (or Katerina, directly) if you have any questions on any aspect of the design or build process or wish to supply resources (whether that be ore, metal, beeswax, charcoal or the gears, themselves) for the gearboxes.

Resources Involved

Gears require either brass or iron and equal quantities of beeswax to be made on a Casting Box.
Casting boxes require 100 or 600 Charcoal just to fire them up, so providing CC alongside metal and beeswax would be greatly appreciated.

Large gears are listed to be thorough but none of these designs should ever need them (they're far too expensive).
