Brass

An alloy of Copper and Tin. Produced in a Reactory.

Experiments so far indicate that the correct metal ratio to produce brass is n tin and 3n-1 copper. Possibly other recipes exist, but this is the only confirmed one so far.

• The maximum ratio possible is 50 tin and 149 copper (that is, where n = 50)
• When making brass, doping a reactory at 7:59:35 or later produces maximum output. (145 brass for the above example)

Uses

• Can be worked into items on an anvil using Blacksmithing.
• Can be alloyed with silver to make bronze.
• 1 is used to make some types of Nozzle for a Fountain in a student's casting box. Nozzle types are Crystal Fog, Misty Bubbles, and White Shower.
• 25 are used to make a brass plate in a master's casting box.
• 21 are used to make a brass pot in a master's casting box.
• 2 are used to make a small gear in a student's casting box.
• 20 are used to make 10 small gears in a master's casting box.
